CBDT Notification No. 01/CPC(TDS)/2026 mandates a new 26-character Unique Identification Number (UIN) system for every Form 121 declaration. Payers must generate and report UINs for each declaration — including manually received ones — starting 1 April 2026.

MCA replaced the annual DIR-3 KYC filing with a simpler KYC intimation once every three years [Gazette Notification G.S.R. 943(E) dated 31 December 2025]. Directors who completed KYC to date: next KYC due by 30 June 2028. Directors who have not yet submitted KYC must reactivate DIN by today (31 March 2026).

MCA Operationalises 3 New Regional Directorates & 6 New ROCs from 1 Jan 2026
